My name is Tom Walker. I recently studied as an A-level student in Aylesbury and live in Milton Keynes.

Many of my friends think it is unusual that I prefer imperial units of measurement, not only due to my age but also due to my interest in science and my not being opposed to the EU. However it is the system I am most comfortable with using, and I am convinced that against metric it is the better system for the future of the UK, Ireland, USA, Canada, Australia, the Moon and wherever else the metric system is being forced upon. I am not 182cm tall, I am 6'2'' tall. The speed on the road that runs past the back of my house is not 100km/h, it is 60MPH. I am not, and never will be metric.

Teach imperial, use imperial, save imperial
